Boudu Saved from Drowning

As Boudu, a Parisian tramp who commits suicide by jumping into the Seine and is rescued by a well-to-do bookseller, Edouard Lestingois, Michel Simon gives one of the most memorable performances in film history. The Lestingois family decides to take in the unstoppable bum, and he expresses his gratitude by shaking the house to its foundations.
