Beauty and the Bastard

Modern Finnish film about two extremely different young adults who make music and fall in love after meeting by coincidence. Nellis wants to sing, but her parents have the perfect career and boyfriend. She begs Sunen, a young, grungy Hip Hop artist, to help her record a demo tape after meeting him at the studio. The story about growing closer and overcoming obstacles is wonderfully told. The music is great too. The director's first film is outstanding.
