Beasts of No Nation

A play based on the adventures of Agu, a young child soldier fighting in the civil war of an unnamed African country. Follows the journey of a new boy, Agu, who's forced to combine a group of troops at a African country that is fictional. While Agu fears his commander and a number of the men around him, his Spartan youth was brutally shattered by the war ravaged through his state and he is at first torn between contradictory revulsion and fascination Depicts the mechanics of war and doesn't shy away from explicit, visceral detail, and paints a more complex, difficult movie of Agu as a child soldier.
