Bucum Jackson (Cube) is a bounty hunter with a lot of attitude and no interest in taking on somebody. Working at Martinez Bail Bonds, Jackson has techniques of tracking criminals that are low life down, however they work, and one day he hopes to become his own boss and open up his own private investigation firm. Reggie Wright (Epps) is just a slick con artist who's avoiding regulations, also Jackson. During a cat and mouse chase, the two stumble upon a dollar diamond heist. Hiding from Jackson, Wright finds himself at the thieves' getaway van also ultimately eventually ends up being forced to escape from them after they detect their booty is fake, much to the displeasure in their ruthless boss (Flanagan). When Wright matches up with his girl friend (Mendes), he discovers his recently purchased lottery ticket is that the sole winner of $60 million. Regrettably, his wallet, which held that the ticket, had been left at the thieves' van, so he left handed Jackson to help him get it backagain.
