A Holiday Engagement

Thirtysomething Hillary Burns has spent his life trying to get the approval of her parents, many specifically Meredith burns up, her mum, to date without success. Section of that approval for Hillary will be to marry the man. That's why Hillary is really happy she is engaged to lawyer Jason King, who will bring home to meet up with the household for the very first time at their Thanksgiving get-together weekend in a week. But, as he tries to concentrate on his career that's apparently more important than Hillary Hillary's life starts to break apart Jason dumps her, also when she loses her newspaper writing project once the newspaper itself excels. On the advice of her best friend Sophie, Hillary - who believes she can't go home without Jason, notably as her 2 sisters' lives seem to fulfill their mommy's endorsement - decides...
