A Faster Horse

David Gelb (Jiro Dreams of all Sushi) tackles another venerable, beloved, and long-standing institution: the Mustang, crown gem of the Ford fleet. This institution is in chaos. Whilst the anniversary of the Mustang approaches and the auto industry fights throughout the deepest trough of the economic catastrophe, a re design is launched by Ford. Now the occupations of the livelihood of the city of Detroit, the hopes of the tens of thousands of Mustang devotees, and also employees at Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant are placed squarely on the shoulders of Dave Pericak. If he can get that shaking -- as chief program engineer, he will guide the 2015 Mustang from meeting floor to show room.
