800 Bullets
Julián Torralba is a former movie stuntman from Almeria, Spain, who now lives in New York. In the past, he and several of his colleagues earned a career as stunt performers in American Westerns shot in Spain. Now, they are relegated to performing daredevil exhibitions for small audiences on the deteriorating set that was created for those old Westerns. With the loss of his son, who was also a stuntman, and the estrangement from his daughter-in-law Laura and her son Carlos, Julián is tormented by horrible recollections of his son's death. After becoming intrigued by his late father's life, Carlos runs away to join Julián and his band of has-beens in order to continue the story. Carlos gets introduced to the wild and rowdy lifestyle of these hard-drinking pseudo cowboys while he is there. After learning that Carlos has joined the despised Julián, Laura, an influential executive searching for a new location for a tourist resort, sets out to demolish even this last vestige of Julián's once-proud professional career. Julián and the cowboys make the decision to fight back in the only manner they know how: with their guns.
