It's 1348. The plague has struck Florence. Rebel against the impression of death that is about to swallow them, A small grouping of three men, seven women and then individuals. They find refuge and flee the city. By telling one another stories until they are going to decide to return, here, between the activities required to survive and also moral doubts, they kill time. The stories are varied - bizarre tragic, funny or erotic - but fundamental and ordinary to each one of these may be the female presence.
