Joe Pesci stars as Louie Kritski, a heartless landlord who has been blessed in keeping his ghetto flat up that he is threatened with jail time. The judge gives him an alternative option, he accepts -- before he brings it upto standards that are overburdened, he needs to live in his rat-infested hell hole. The judge gives him 120 days, during which time Louie meets lots of the renters, including medication trader Marlon (Ruben Blades). Louie develops more dominating with their issues and sees the results of his greediness. Regrettably, Louie's dad, Big Lou Kritski (Vincent Gardenia), will be the actual owner of their property, also he frees his son's entreaties to devote less to clean up the place.
