Jackie Moon is the Proprietor promoter, coach, and star player of This Flint Michigan Tropics of the American Basketball Association (ABA). Back in 1976 prior to the ABA collapses, the National Basketball Association (NBA) plans to merge together with the best teams of this ABA at the end of the season. Only the best four teams could make the move and the worst teams will likely fold. The Tropics would be the worst team in the league and also Jackie Moon must rally his team and start winning if they want to make it into the NBA. The only problem could be the fact that Jackie Moon is not truly celebrity basketball player and the trainer he believes he could be. Leave his mark in the city and to continue to keep his team, Jackie Moon must inspire his team acquire fourth place.
