Portrait of a Beauty
Yoon-jeong, who is seven years old, was born into a family of renowned court painters. She is a talented painter. Women are not allowed to become professional painters, so there is pressure on her brother to continue the family's great heritage. While her brother prepares to assume his position on the court, Yoon-jeong discreetly paints for him. When her brother commits suicide, the little girl's life is turned upside down. She is compelled to steal her brother's name and live as a man in order to preserve the family's honor. Kim Hong-do is moved by Yun-brilliance bok's and skill. However, her audacious representations of women are deemed vulgar by the royal institute. Yun-bok falls in love with Kang-mu upon first meeting her. She has, for the first time, a tremendous yearning to forsake everything she has established and simply be a woman in front of the guy she loves. Kang-moo gives all for his devotion.
