Of Gods and Men
French play based on the 1996 kidnapping and killing of seven monks from Algeria. A group of monks live at Algeria, where they are now living in harmony with the muslim populace. When the peace is disrupted by a battle between the Muslim and military Jihadi insurgents of Algeria, they are forced to consider deserting and fleeing the monastery. At the face of violence the monks wrestle with their faith and their own rulers, eventually deciding to stay and help their neighbours keep the insurgents and the army away.
