"muffin-top: A Love Story" is the story of Suzanne (Cathryn Michon) that a Women's Research Pop Culture professor at Malibu University, who analyzes pictures of women in the media for an income, yet is made insecure by the endless parade of female perfection which is our airbrushed culture. She was going through IVF treatments to get pregnant with her network executive husband (Diedrich Bader), but discovers her birthday, her husband has pumped up his younger, skinnier, co-worker (Haylie Duff) and wants a divorce. Happy Birthday! She proceeds to find a more authentic version of who she's, inspite of the joys of being unexpectedly single in Los Angeles, at which non selfesteem for women is that our number one export into this world.
