Far and Away
A young man leaves Ireland with his spouse's daughter after some problem with her daddy, and so they dream about owning land at the big plantations in Oklahoma ca. 1893. If they get to the land , they start spending less and find jobs. The man becomes a regional bare hands boxer, also rides in glory until he is beaten, then his companies steal all the couple's money plus so they must fight off starvation in winter, and try to maintain their dream of owning land alive. Meanwhile, the parents of the woman have come to America to find her and take her back and find out where she has gone.
