Diary of a Chambermaid
France, Approximately 1900. Coming from Paris' vibrancy, pert Célestine is procured as a chambermaid in Normandy. In the villa of the Lanlaire she encounters with the lecherous man of the house and his tyrannical asexual and jealous wife. Célestine is decided to avoid the fate suffered by the cook Marianne who has covertly killed one child born out of wedlock and now despairingly realises she is pregnant.
