Above and Below is a rough and rhythmic roller coaster ride that follows five survivors through an apocalyptic world on a regular basis. A voyage of hardships and beauty in the most inconvenient of places: Godfather Lalo, Rick & Cindy, deep beneath the gleaming strip of Sin City, in the flood channels. April is simulating a Mars expedition in the Utah desert, while Dave is in the parched and lonely Californian desert. We are carried away to a strange world by the rush, the agony, and the laughter, yet we quickly learn that the souls we meet are probably not that dissimilar to our own.
