Asia – Secret Lives, Hidden Places

In Asia's most gorgeous National Parks, people and wildlife share the same backyard. Unlike protected areas in North America and Europe, endangered Asian environments often include humans. This series shows how people and animals coexist. Meet Shinto people who live in the shadow of an active volcano, a tribal guy who cares for infant elephants by day as wild elephants threaten his town at night, and how the spirits of a tropical island off Borneo stopped a local Imam from tearing down the rainforest.
