Are You Afraid of the Dark? Is a joint Canadian American horror/fantasy-themed anthology tv show. The original show was a joint production between the Canadian company Cinar and the American company Nickelodeon. The show was filmed in Montreal, Quebec for example their suburbs as well as at Richmond, British Columbia. The episode"The Tale of the Twisted Claw" has been aired as a pilot over the night of October 3 1, 1991 at America and in October 1990 at Canada. Are You Afraid of the Dark? Was aired from August 1-5, 1992. The show also aired on the Canadian tv network YTV in October 30, 1990. Nickelodeon produced A revived show with writers, directors, and cast from 1999 into 2000 and aired on SNICK. The sole member from the original line up to come back for the sixth and seventh seasons was Tucker, although Ross Hull came back to the concluding mini series, which broke out of the show's established format by blurring line between narrative and"reality".
