3--2--1 was a British game series which has been created by Yorkshire Television for ITV. It conducted for between 29 July 1978, 10 years and also 24 December 1988, together with former Butlins Redcoat Ted Rogers because the host. It was based on a Spanish gameshow named Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez and has been three shows in one, a quiz show, a variety show and a game series. The series was a success always pulling in evaluations. The first show, though, thought to be a summer filler, attracted up to 16.5 million audiences and following decades not neglected to summit below 1-2 million. The series inhabited a Saturday early evening championship for most of its run. The final xmas special attracted 12.5 million viewers, thus it is to the day unsure an eleventh series was not commissioned in 1989. Ted Rogers maintained in a 1996 interview that"The Oxbridge lot got control of TV and so they didn't really want it. It was too downmarket for them. We were getting 1-2 million audiences when they took it off after 10 years. Today if a show gets nine-million every one has a lap of honour." .
