We Are The Missing

When Riley (Chantel Little) is supposed to be in class one morning, her mother Angie (Maissa Houri) hears a cellphone ringing from her bedroom, only to realize Riley has forgotten her phone. Riley's best friend Mackenzie's (Willow Mcgregor) third effort to contact someone is answered by her. When Angie inquires about Riley's whereabouts, she knows Mackenzie was ready to inquire the same thing. Angie checks the main closet shortly afterwards and discovers Riley's shoes are still there. Did she vanish into thin air or did she go in the middle of the night? Riley's circles depict the events leading up to her disappearance while pursuing leads in what develops into a distressing mystery of twists, turns, and revelations that begs the question: Was it better to remain in the dark after discovering the truth?
