The Pit and the Pendulum

Set during the height of Spanish Inquisition. The kind hearted and lovely Maria is detained as being a witch when she inadvertently cries out in terror at the general public spat of a kid. As Maria's husband Antonio attempts to rescue her, the Grand Inquisitor, Torquemada, determines to punish Maria with torture. Loosely based on Edgar Allen Poe's classic short story.
