Silence Is Welcome

The holidays are a time when Amanda, a teenager locked in adolescence, searches for a means to get away from the inconvenient family vacation. While traveling, she becomes increasingly aware of how her relationship with her family is deteriorating, as well as how her parents' marriage is gradually disintegrating. Her reaction is that it is a punishment, but she has no idea that, given the expected increase of violence in Mexico, this could be their last holiday together.
