People You May Know follows Charles Kriel, a specialist advisor to the UK Parliament on disinformation, as he discovers Cambridge Analytica working with a software company to create a microtargeting platform for US churches, targeting vulnerable people-the poor, the grieving, the addicted-to radicalize them for far-right politics. With the US presidential elections approaching in 2020, Kriel assembles a team of whistleblowers and journalists and travels across America with his young family, where he uncovers a strong organization with ties to the White House's inner circle. CA was commissioned by a member of the United States' most powerful secret political organization, which has an aim of rewriting the Constitution according to Christian law. He risks everything by going underground in order to obtain access to areas where no outsider has ever set foot.
