Ivan uses experimental meditation to cause experiences that might make it feasible for him to retreat a mysterious disorder. His training takes an unexpected turn when he finds himself becoming involving the marital participation of John, Emily and two old friends. Unaware of the secret relationship with his fiancé of Ivan invites Ivan to go with him on a trekking trip. As a way to keep looks up, Ivan agrees to go along. Over the excursion, John develops more suspicious with Emily of the aims of Ivan. A dangerous game of cat and mouse ensues that might provide Ivan an unexpected approach to a cure.
