Watabe (Goro Kishitani) meets subordinate employee Nakanishi (Kyoko Fukada) by happenstance at a batting center. A friendship develops into a passionate love affair. Watabe then discovers that Nakanishi is the lead suspect in a 15-year-old murder case involving her father's ex-lover. Soon, the statute of limitations for this murder case will expire.
