Hondros

HONDROS explores the sad and often surprising tales behind famed military photographer Chris Hondros' most famous photographs. After9/11, Chris was among the first in a new generation of war photographers since Vietnam. HONDROS delves into the difficulties of covering more than a decade of conflict while attempting to live a regular life. It also looks at the intangible calculus that goes into making split-second life-or-death decisions — before, during, and after his photographs were taken. Chris was killed in Libya in 2011, but he left an indelible mark on his field that may still be felt today.
