Dane 'Marbles' Marbeck has the ability to see ghosts as a result of a homemade medicine he created with his late father's neurological prescription and marijuana. Officer Jayson Tagg, a burgeoning supercop on the hunt for a serial killer, is assassinated. As a result, when Marbles' mother announces her intention to sell the family property and the only way to purchase it is to take the money given by Tagg in exchange for his assistance, Marbles accepts. The incongruous pairing of a stoner medium and a ghost cop struggles to resolve their differences as they traverse ghouls, perverts, a mysterious cloaked figure, and an unexpected opportunity at love. It becomes evident that the only way Marbles and Tagg can successfully resolve the case while maintaining their souls is for them to confront their darkest regrets and overcome their prejudices.
